searching for renderers

I installed using the easy steps then opened the program and all it does is say searching for renderers
any tips?

ps i am running it on on ubuntu 12.04.

fixed. i had a version installed via ubuntu software centre called "DLNA Java Upnp Media Server dedicated to PS3" and when i removed that it worked fine
