Root folder showing as 93GB file instead of folder

Alright running that now but I can't find the log file and it's showing no video files now when I connect

EDIT: Manually restarting the service seems to have fixed showing no files, but it's still not logging (that I can see?) and I've checked permissions on the folders

EDIT 2: And now playing anything fails and crashes the server

What is the output of these commands when run against the downloaded and renamed jar file?

Try to find the JVM error file.

As far as I can tell there is no error file in the locations specified at that link and from other google resources

Shut down any PMS services on the server. Open a console and run the PMS.sh script in the directory you saved the pms.jar to. If PMS starts, then there will be a debug.log. If not, there should be a JVM error file or an error message on the console.

Uhm there's no PMS.sh script... I saved it to /usr/lib/ps3mediaserver

In the PPA, it's /usr/bin/ps3mediaserver.

Don't post images. Post the text output as described in the link I posted (at the bottom).

Don't run PMS (or anything else, for that matter) as root.
