Pretranscode videos

I have a PS3 Media Server and various Sony EX TV. How can I perform 100% all the transcoding that PS3 Media Server performs so there is 0% CPU usage during playback? Right now the playback stutters because the CPU is not able to transcode 1080p video in real time.

Also it seems that PS3 Media Server is sending MPEG2 to the TV, but from what I can tell in the config file it supports MPEG4. How can I use MPEG4 to reduce the disk and network utilization?

you can just remux with tsmuxer most of the avc+ac3 files. No subtitles support though.
