Help installing PSM on Ubuntu 8.10

Hi

I am currently installing the latest PS3 media server, I did the apt-get for all of the needed java, mencoder, mplayer etc. I downloaded and extracted the folder. When I try to sudo ./PMS.sh to start up the script there's an error command not found?? I am fairly new to Linux so any suggestions would really help.

cd /opt/pms-linux-1.10.5
sh PMS.sh

works fine for me...
