So close...

I tried build-pms-binaries-2.0.7. I had to manually make available zlib and edit the arch, from there it when pretty smooth unitil this part:

Any guidance? I'm really hoping this will work for me because I can never get anything to transcode live with pms.

Sounds like PMS refuses to build because you are missing dependencies.
According to the README you need to do the following commands first:

Code: Select all
cd ps3mediaserver
mvn com.savage7.maven.plugins:maven-external-dependency-plugin:resolve-external
mvn com.savage7.maven.plugins:maven-external-dependency-plugin:install-external

The last two commands should download and install the necessary dependencies in your local Maven repository.

Hope that helps.

Hi, mani
I recommend you to use latest version of this script from git https://github.com/ps3mediaserver/ps3me ... er/contrib

Thanks, I was able to work my way through that one, had to comment out the system tray part for apple and uncomment the pms_build. Still can't get anything to transcode in a way that's watchable. It's just like described here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13546

I'm going to go through it again, see what I might be misunderstanding because transcoding each file myself so I can watch them is proving to be very hit-and-miss...can't find the magic process that works on everything.
