[SOLVED]libmedia & libzen [Debian user read it could help]

Postby G-rom » Sun Sep 11, 2011 11:20 am

Hi, i'm on Debian testing

PMS shout me this

Code: Select all
[main] WARN  12:17:57.512 Error loading libzen: Unable to load library 'zen': libzen.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[main] INFO  12:17:57.513 Loading MediaInfo library
[main] INFO  12:17:57.515 Error loading MediaInfo library: Unable to load library 'mediainfo': libmediainfo.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[main] INFO  12:17:57.515 Make sure you have libmediainfo and libzen installed
[main] INFO  12:17:57.516 The server will now use the less accurate ffmpeg parsing method

But I installed mediainfo !!

Code: Select all
$ locate mediainfo
/usr/bin/mediainfo
/usr/bin/mediainfo-gui
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmediainfo.so.0
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmediainfo.so.0.0.0

I also made a symlink into /usr/lib so what's wrong ?

[EDIT]

solved by doing a specific symlink sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmediainfo.so.0 /usr/lib/libmediainfo.so and not default symlink into /usr/lib which make a link *.so.0

Thanks, it works for me but I found it in other place (I have Ubuntu 11.10)

Code: Select all
$ locate mediainfo
/usr/bin/dvd+rw-mediainfo
/usr/lib/libmediainfo.so.0
/usr/lib/libmediainfo.so.0.0.0
/usr/share/doc/libmediainfo0
[...]

$ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libmediainfo.so.0 /usr/lib/libmediainfo.so
$ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libzen.so.0 /usr/lib/libzen.so
