PS3 Media Server + TVersity Installer Ready!

Hi Guys,

I just finished the first build of my PS3 Media Servers Application.

What is the PS3 Media Servers Application?
An Application wich installs the 2 most popular PS3 Media Servers (TVersity & PS3 Media Server). The Application also detects if you have the required software installed to run the Media Servers (Java, Flash Player & VLC), and if necesarry it will install or update them for you.

I got permission from TVersity to distribute their software.

I agree. A while back I used it because I had mp3 playback problems with PMS, but since I remedied my problems, Tversity offers nothing that PMS can't handle.
Video playback is NOWHERE near PMS.

Not knocking your app....just the choice of supplemental program.

For some things, like transferring a sopcast stream to PS3, TVersity works better. I made this App for my cousin Bart Christaans, because he has a PS3 and doesnt know much about PC's and he wants to watch movies, listen to the radio etc. tru his PS3. I tought it might be a good idea to release the app in public for other people who are in the same situation. Both servers are completely configurated.

Even though I'm fully happy with only using pms, I fully agree with you. People who want to use your setup can and the others don't have to; everyone wins

Good point. As well, you can access your media over the internet with Tversity.

Another good point that I should have added to the end of my original post in this thread. Sorry OP, not meaning to put a damper on your thread at all.
