Windows Software to play mkv2vob ps3 files needed

Does anyone know of a way to play video files on a computer that have been converted for the ps3 using mkv2vob. I have a rather large collection of movies that have been converted for playing on the PS3 with DTS audio track. The problem is the PS3 is the only way I can play these files now. When I try and play them using my computer, argosy media player, asus o!play I get static rather than audio. I am running optical out through a DTS receiver.

Or is there a simple way to reverse the mkv2vob conversion?

This has nothing to do with the program PS3 Media Server, so searching Google would probably be a better bet.
I would think VLC or MPC should be able to help you, but it could also be that your computer's sound card doesn't support decoding DTS, in which case none of those will help. Once again, Google is your best bet.
