Connecting to PS3 media server from a pc

I'm amazed I'm having this much difficulty finding out anything on the subject. I'm using ps3 media server, and I'd like to connect to it from computers as well as my ps3. Anyone have suggestions? The computers are running windows 7. I have tried the windows media center with no luck. Thanks.

Sorry, I should clarify, using file sharing across the network doesn't work well from the server, but ps3 media player does, so I was hoping there would be a way to browse and play back media from the server the same way the ps3 does.
