Ok, I went thru lots of threads reading till my eyes bleed & didn't find what I want. I want to be able to stream my PS3's video output to my PC so I can record it. How would I make a config file so PMS will do this?

If I get you right, you want to record on the pc what is being displayed on your TV (while watching videos, playing games etc through the ps3). This is not possible, as pms works the other way around and serves content to the ps3

I work for a tv show about videogame.
If you want to record PS3 HD video and audio stream with your computer you need a capture card ( this : http://www.matrox.com/video/fr/products ... mxo2_mini/ or this : http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ )
You have 2 choice :
- using a HDMI cable with a PS3 debug (special PS3 for dev and journalist) so you can disable the HDCP (content protection)
- using a component cable with a retail PS3 (commercial PS3).
