Can someone please explain what the Media library feature is all about. Can we make changes to the media library folders. Is the media library like tags? Please advise.

It's a way to catalogue the files you've shared, so that they in PS3's XMB show up under Video / Audio / Photo folders, and subsequently in their corresponding sub-categories

I have most of my media in separate folders but in Video from the XMB it only shows the standard SD, HD or ALL(?) only installed it last night so not had a chance to play with it properly yet.
It does not seem to show folders? Or am I looking in the wrong place?
