And I still have an issue where when I exit out of PS3 Media Server the next time I lauch PS3 Media Server my PS3 can not found it. Also no PS3 Media Server icon is showing under the network folder.
However if I always run PS3 Media Server as "Adminstrator" then my PS3 always finds PS3 Media Server right away even after a exit and restart of PS3 Media Server.

Is this a known issue and will it ever be fixed so I do not have to run PS3 Media Server as "Adminstrator"?

I am running Windows 7 Beta build 7022

thats not the problem of the ps3 media server.. its a problem of your operating system.. cause ps3media server opens a network port on a windows machine only the administrator or a member of the power users can install such a program...

I am also facing issues with version 1.10, it is not getting detected by PS3 irrespective whether I run it in Admin mode or not. It keeps saying "Sending Alive Message"...prior to that the version 1.09 and 1.09.1 Beta both were unable to let me play DVD ISOs (with or without DTS). The folder containing the DVD ISO structure has a DVD movie that is read (only as a name and a file) correctly but PS3 fails to play it. I didn't have any such issue with version 1.03. I have connected my PS3 with my laptop (Core2Duo 1.66Ghz, 2GB RAM, Vista Ultilmate) through a wired connection. I can stream my MKV files of 1080P config without any issues, Shagrath need your help man. Please advise if I am missing on anything.

I was tested the new 1.10 release and everything was going great, when it suddenly crashed. The javaw process was still running on the PC, but the application had died. It disappeared from the PS3 as well. I am attaching the debug file to this post. I had just watched a mkv file and then tried to open a regular Video TS folder when this happened. The folder came up as corrupted first and then the app just died. Everything I tried to that point worked, including, ISOs, Video TS, mkv etc.

I know people have posted in this forum that forwarding and reversing is achieveable using the goto menu, but I normally try to move forward using the regular buttons and it is slow. Not sure if me doing that is causing this issue. Let me know if you need more info.

Don't know if this is 1.10 beta issue but PMS can't find all of my mp3's. I never tried this with previous versions. I Have 1683 subdirectories of music but PMS 1.10 beta shows only the first 710 of them. Is this a bug, feature or user error? I'd also like to listen my ZZ Top :)

1.09 and 1.10: doesn't show on XMB
(doesn't matter if I run as admin / compability mode / normal -> Vista SP1, no firewall running)
1.03 and 1.04: got connection OK.

problem with 1.04 was that sound and video was not in sync. Perfect in 1.03

Getting DNLA error 2104 in 1.03 / 1.04 when browsing folders through XMB - always done that it seems.

edit: well, did an uninstall of 1.10. Installed 1.03. No go. Uninstalled 1.03 - logged off / logged into PC. Installed 1.03. Connection OK. Uninstalled 1.03. Logged off / back in. Installed 1.10. Connection OK. Gonna test some files now

try first to play them through the #Transcoded# folder... if not working, try disable the "Swith to tsMuxer etc." option on mencoder config panel to force a full transcode... if this is working, that means my AVC level detection is not working well, so I'd like a debug.log

revert to an 1.04, just to see if this is a problem introduced by latest version (also, try reboot ps3, or computer)

maybe a memory problem
