Has anyone had any luck w/ this on Linux? I can see that the 100MB buffer is full, but I never get any video/audio on the PS3 (though, it does show the play icon, and if you display the info, it'll show it's playing an AVC stream, but the bitrate is just dashes.

the tsmuxer version on Linux is known to have troubles with some H264 streams... on mine some files works, others don't

I just realised I have been testing an outa date beta (if I heard you right in the above thread). Can you post the current beta we are testing? Thx

Thanks.. I figured that was the case, I haven't had much luck with tsMuxeR in linux. I have tried running the windows version via wine, but I don't know how well it deals w/ linux fifo's (seems to give me pes >100Mb error's).

Just an idea...

will do, thanks for the tip

when streaming the movie both audio and video started at the same time, but the audio quickly lags the video. I have to press stop then play again every 5sec just to sync the two. Its ok on my pc. DirectVobSub is working fine on my PC which means the file is ok. I've tried it on v1.04 and v1.09.1 and both didn't work. I also tried to play on every option on transcode setting but still no use. can this be fixed?

please post video details with mediainfo... cannot really help here

Here's the info. Video plays faster than the audio.

Hi there,

is there a Linux beta out?
I'm moving from Win to Linux and this because of PSM :D
Think or feel that Linux is quite a bit faster in transcoding and much more stable.

@Martin,

if you compile the last revision you'll get windows and linux binaries. So yes there is a linux version :-)

the rev 298 is a good candidate for 1.10

http://mogoo.free.fr/files/rev298/pms-s ... rev298.exe
http://mogoo.free.fr/files/rev298/pms-linux-rev298.tgz

I also revert to mencoder MT from the 1.03 release, like some people suggested
Warning: I didn't test the stability (yet) with the Avisynth engine, and LPCM 5.1 audio (it was broken, I just fixed it)

the complete changelog:

v1.10

- Changes / Features : Windows/Linux

DTS / DTS-HD core audio tracks are now streamable without reencoding (DVD ISOs not supported yet)
New Option: unification of Mencoder/tsMuxer engines, including:
. Automatic choice between H264 muxing or transcoding, based on AVC Level 4.1 compatibility and subtitles configuration
. Remux on the fly any H264 content from MOV, MP4, and AVI containers (ex: Apple HD Trailers)
. This option is enabled by default and can be disabled via the #Video Settings# virtual menu if anything goes wrong
TS/M2TS support improvement
2 channels downmixing support with PCM conversion

- Changes / Features : All Platforms

XBox 360 unofficial support (Pictures/Music/Videos : WMV8/WMA2 transcoding)
Mencoder archive handling (no seeking support)
Simplified copy (always available, no more option), and much faster with remuxed videos
Alternate subtitles directory
Multi language external subtitles support
Alternate cover art folder and <video>.jpg additional support (along existing <video>.<ext>.cover.jpg)
Automatic album art download from amazon or discogs
Option to display more recents file first in a directory
Ability to generate video thumbnails with Mplayer
New translations: Romanian (thanks to Marinescu Alexandru Cezar), Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese (thanks to KK Tong)
Updated translations: Finnish, Greek, Icelandic, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish

- Fixes

Reworked RSS parsing (youtube playlists)
Reworked Audio/Subtitles tracks handling
Better stability in LPCM and DTS handling
Fixed LPCM channel ordering
Wrong font detection on some systems: subtitles weren't loaded
Fixed tsMuxer crash at the end of file
Modified UPNP discovery [work in progress]
