Is there a way to make the enhanced version om Mencoder to use more cpu.... I use COREAVC and it uses 100 % of both cores... and then I can see a 1080p movie.... but with mencoder it only uses about 80 % total..... and my cpu is´nt fast enough....

Can I tweak mencoder to use more cpu..... ?

Well I believe I have mencoder MT installed already in the 1.04 version..... and it does´nt use more than about 80 % total of my cpu... and that is not enough for me....

Or am I missing something?

Have you enabled it? There is acheckbox under Mencoder settings for enhanced HD

Yes..... I´ve noticed that it uses more cpu right now than previous versions but not as much as coreavc.... so that´s why I was wondering...

But I can keep using coreavc.... it works.... so no worries... just wondering...
