How many PS3's can the server stream to at once?

Hi there,

I have two PS3's and my brother (next door) has two as well all connected to my router (wired). I am wondering how many PS3's this media server can stream to at once? Is there a limit on the server or just whatever my bandwidth and CPU limits are?

I have two PS3's and have had no problems streaming 1080 trailers to both at the same time. Haven't tried transcoding to both yet but I imagine it would be more difficult due to the demands placed on the file host's CPU.

If your question was for me, I have a Windows Home Server machine with 2 Gigs of Ram and an Intel E4500 that I've under-clocked to 2.0 GHz in order to reduce heat, fan noise and power usage. Motherboard is a GA-G31M-S2L. I also have a gigabit wired network which is very helpful.

Streaming to several PS3 should be no issues, but transcoding to more then one at the time I assume is a no go.

Yeah, my main question was about transcoding. Can you transcode to multiple PS3's at the same time or is it limited to 1 PS3 or limited to your server's CPU/memory?
