Hi,
I have a MacBookPro and an 2009 Intel iMac, both running OS X.5.x. I've got a Philips 32PFL9613 TV with an Ethernet port on the back and the manual says it's DLNA compliant. I couldn't tell you what I want to see on the TV - I guess everything I have. Music from iTunes, HD QuickTime movies, HD .mkv, VIDEO_TSes, FLAC files, photos from iTunes etc.
Now the manual of the TV names the formats the TV itself supports and that's not much. I successfully tried mp3s, WAVs, certain mpeg2s and muxed VOBs. That's all that works. Now as far as I understand PS3 Media Server transcoded stuff to formats the PS3 understands, which is not my target device.
Another issue is that I don't want the MBP to be burdened too much CPU-wise.
Could I use your software to feed this thing?
Best regards,
Bradamante
