All of a sudden (within the last few days) weird things have started to happen.
I have a few files which I can play on both my W8 tablet and W8 laptop with no problem. I can also watch them direct on my TV using VLC and HDMI lead perfectly as well.
However, when I try to watch them via my PS3 (to take advantage of DTS/DD soundtracks) the audio all goes a little strange, lagging behind the video because it's playing really slow. The picture however is fine.
The really odd thing is that for TV progs, the 2-3 minute broadcast preview plays fine, it's only when the main feature kicks in that the sound goes into slow mo again. With movies it's right from the beginning.
Really frustrating
