Is there an app I can use that will turn my phone into a remote control instead of using the PS3 Controller or the PS3 Remote?

Not that I know off.
The updated YouTube app on PS3 does allow you to remotely control it via your phone or tablet, but I have not seen something similar for controlling the PS3 itself.
