Some progression, previous VLC version always crashed after playing a file and closing VLC player. This one does it fine. I have not tried webstreamings yet to see there's no changes.

I regularly download a GIT nightly build v1.x but it has major problems. Most transcoding webstreams don't work, its something to do with a new Avcodec bug and/or live555 streaming module.

edit: well, new VLC still crashes after closing an application but does it less than previous version.
