PS3 Media Server

I have used the media server for over a year with no problems. Suddenly a virus scan indicated that my media server files were infected with a virus. I deleted the infected files and downloaded the media server again right away. I have the latest verion of java but when I try to set up the server it says it must download java runtime environment but it won't connect. It just says download failed connection time out or something. Tried to find runtime on my own but that didn't work either. What am I doing wrong? I am really missing my ps3 media server!!!

Me too. Went to the java sight and downloaded it. Thought I'd solved it but nothing.

I'm using this Java from the Oracle site.

Works fine on my setup.

I would remove any old JRE's and install the new one. Once installed, then try to install PMS again.

So I'm an idiot. The reason my java wouldn't work is because it was downloaded but not installed... Oops. Now that I have it all figured out though it still won't conect. When I'm on the playstation and do a search for medis servers it says none found even though my server is on and says it's connected??
