How do you structure your PC/MAC library of media?

Postby alexeliasson » Sun Feb 12, 2012 3:12 pm

Hi guys!

Love this site and all of the features PS3MediaServer gives us. I'm getting an even larger library of movies and tv-shows in my computer as the days goes by, and I'm looking for some advice to structure it. How do you guys do?

My "dilemma" is all the small things/and clicks that needs to be done with every moviefile before I get to watch it. I'll give you an example: First I need to find a movie and download it with Utorrent(a legit movie ofcoruse), then I need to unrar it when the download is complete. The next step is to browse some sites to find subtitles, and download them and extract them to the same directory. The last thing I need to do is to move the downloaded file from my /download directory to my /movies dir.

I want it smoother than this. What scripts/software/configurations would you guys recommend? Any tips are much appreciated.
