DTS audio files

Postby eSanto » Thu Mar 19, 2009 1:03 am

I noticed that DTS is able to be streamed natively in the latest release. Is there any way to stream a DTS encoded .wav audio file to my ps3? I'd even be happy if I could force it to transcode as an AC3 on the fly.

Excellent work on this software man....it really does work amazingly well on just about everything I throw at it. Tversity was uninstalled as soon as I tried ps3 media server. Thanks for all your hard work.

Yes - any news yet?

For some years now I've been using a Pinnacle ShowCenter 200 and my Buffalo Terrastation's native media server to stream various files from my PC - my belief is streaming is the way to go if you download lots of sound files/video files. They have worked ok.

Then I saw this site and wowwwwwwwwwwww!!! I can play 1920 x 1080 progressive video (1080p) from my pc - oh joy! And it's less fussy than using other methods and has extended the life of my PS3.

So would it play my mass of DTS files? - Noooooooooooooo - not yet anyways having just looked at this thread.

And what about DVD-A files ?

Finally how come some of my DVD Music files (DVD) files play and some won't?

Anyone?
