NSZ-GT1 - Sony Google TV Blu-ray Disc Player

Has anyone started thinking about making a renderer file for this device or for the Logitech Google TV? I would like to help but I don't now where to start. I own a NSZ-GT1 and I am using PSM 1.20.412 on Ubuntu 10.10 . Using no renderer configuration at all, I have success with .avi files that have a MP3 audio track but I fail on just about every other file type. If someone can start me off I could probably spend some time tweaking and experimenting. Is there a guide somewhere that tells you how to create one of these .conf files?

I had some success by setting VLC to be the streaming encoder for both audio AND video. When I was having trouble, I had MEncoder doing the audio. Now , the only files I can't stream are the .mkv files.
