Samsung AllShare uPnP/DLNA

Discuss alternative media renderers (not PS3) supported by PS3 Media Server (e.g. Xbox 360, TVs &c.)

Thanks for updating the link djfred. What does the additional UserAgent headers do? I haven't noticed any difference after adding them.

Yeah, it seems that live streaming is broken on these TV:s. Maybe there will be a firmware update someday, or SamyGo might work.

I thought fast forward/rewind didn't work, until I realized that I should be pressing the left/right keys instead of the skip keys! Doh!

@fresta,
The additional useragent is a backup in case the TV falls back with the DLNADOC/1.5 info.
Its happened to me once so i put it there in case.

first I want to thank djfred for making this post. It was very helpful and I've got my samsung TV model un40c6500 to work great.
I'm still testing so far so good.
However, I notice the ratio of streaming picture to my TV is 4:3.
Did I miss something? I copied the conf file from your first page.
I know my source mkv,avi or iso is 16:9 while I play it on the computer or PS3.
Djfred, Do you know how to make it stream at full 16:9 ratio to the TV.

Thanks a lot for your help.
You're the best.

@wasup,
hey the conf file has nothing to do with the ratio, the code does not alter the ratio of the movie at all, you might want to check the server itself or your tv options.
maybe try this on your remote hit the "P.Size" button and see what happens.

did you have this issue also with the normal TV source?
The Sammy has a option in the settings which is managing the delay of the audio. (sorry i don't know the exact way to the setting at the moment) but you could temporary change the value if you are watching files from PSM.
i know not very comfortable but it should solve your issue.

Thanks djfred and Motorui.
I did try to push p.size button but it doesn't work.
I'll try Motorui's suggestion tonight and will post it here either way.

Cheers.

Streaming to Samsung 63C7700 works like a charm. It's even more responsive than PS3!! Movies starts almost instantly, so now I can finally put my PS3 on eBay and buy a dedicated BD-player.

This is the string used:
UserAgentSearch=SEC_HHP_TV-63C7700/1.0
AMD PHENOM X4 2.8GHz - 8,0GB RAM - GA-MA790FXT-UD5P - GbLAN
