[question] Sony NSX40GT1 (GoogleTV) and DTS

Discuss alternative media renderers (not PS3) supported by PS3 Media Server (e.g. Xbox 360, TVs &c.)

[question] Sony NSX40GT1 (GoogleTV) and DTS

Postby kdragon75 » Wed Dec 01, 2010 8:00 pm

I am running Ubuntu 10.10 server with PMS v1.20.409.

Hardware:
Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz with HT
1GB DDR
Integrated Video
Integrated Sound
EIDE 5400 HDDS
10/100 Mbps NIC

Almost everything works perfectly with the Mediaplayer app with no transcoding/muxing.
The only thing I cant play is .mkv with DTS sound. ALL other .mkv's play fine (inc. 1080p)

If I enable ANY transcoding/muxing I get "Corrupt Data" Messages on the TV.

All I need is on the fly DTS transcoding (i think). I dont care about sub titles but still want 5.1.

If anyone has any ideas or tips at all THANK YOU!.

BTW Iv done a TON of reading and searching to no end :(
