Help me create a profile for Dish922

Can anyone assist me with creating a profile for the Dish Network Vip922 satellite receiver? I am a bit over my head. I have created a custom config for this renderer. Its based on the bravia 5500 profile. MKV's play great, but avi's throw an error code with mencoder:

First of all, you're unlikely to get any help if you don't post your details. Secondly, this should be posted in the Alternative Media Renderers subforum, rather than General Help and Support.

It looks like the answer is right there in the debug.log you posted:

Presumably you added this option (-oac x264) yourself. Clearly it doesn't work with your mencoder, so either remove it or replace it with something that does.

Thanks for the help. A reinstall cleared up the erroneous option. And I am now able to play avi files (with some framerate loss), but no audio.

1- Your computer specs (cpu, memory, O/S) and the precise server version you're using (eg 1.10.51 or r409, not "latest version")

• Shut down PMS.
• Restart PMS.
• Stream an .avi.
• Post the debug.log and your PMS.conf together as a zipped attachment.

I also have a 922 and I don't get any audio on mkv or avi video. IF I convert the file to Ts and use tsmuxer, I get audio but it is only two channels. I will try to post what chocolateboy requested when I get home. I love ps3 media server and hope we can find a resolution.

I think ps3server transcodes the audio that is why we are only getting 2 channel audio.
I used TXMUXER and converted MKV file with DOLBY audio to MPEG-TS and shared using TVersity with transcoding turned off and I was able to get Dolby working on 922.
I tried MPEG-TS file with DTS audio and I did not get any audio so, DTS not working but DOLBY worked on few converted MKV.

I was just making sure dolby works or not on 922 or not. Dolby did work so I went back to ps3mediaserver as it is most flaxible solution.
