Samsung UE32C6710

Hi guyz,

Here is my conf file for a Samsung UE32C6710 TV.

Everything works fine with it, so try it if you want.

Code: Select all
# ps3mediaserver renderer profile for Samsung Wiselink
# Refer to PS3.conf for help

RendererName=Samsung
RendererIcon=bravia.png
UserAgentSearch=SEC_HHP_TV-32C6700/1.0
Video=true
Audio=true
Image=true
SeekByTime=true
TranscodeVideo=MPEGAC3
TranscodeAudio=PCM
DefaultVBVBufSize=true
MuxH264ToMpegTS=true
MuxDTSToMpeg=true
WrapDTSIntoPCM=false
MuxLPCMToMpeg=false
MaxVideoBitrateMbps=0
MaxVideoWidth=0
MaxVideoHeight=0
MimeTypesChanges=audio/wav=audio/L16
TranscodeExtensions=mov,mkv
StreamExtensions=mp3,mp4,avi,hdmov,hdm,flac,fla,dts,ogg,asf,asx,m2v

This should work with any LAN/WAN Samsung's TVs.

There is one line you may changed:
Code: Select all
UserAgentSearch=SEC_HHP_TV-32C6700/1.0

To fit it with your TV, in order to have the desired conf file active, you may put the correct UserAgentSearch which match with your TV.
You can find it by looking into your "debug" file.

Enjoy.

Hi,
Thanks for the config file!

I have a UE32C7600 and it works nicely. I've moved the mkv extension to StreamExtensions however, as the Samsung manual states that mkv is supported, and that works too.
There's probably some way to generalize the UserAgentSearch as well so that other 6700 models (40" and other sizes) are supported as well. I'll post that when I find it.

Cheers,
Matthijs
