oppo bdp80

Hi there

I've had success streaming all video formats from my server to an Oppo BDP83 following instructions to create a .conf file at http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1215071 but cannot get the same result on my Oppo BDP80. Have changed all instances of BDP83 to BDP80 but to no avail.

Also when I connect the player to the server, the server software shows the Oppo BDP83 under other renderers, but with the BDP80 it shows up only as "Unknown renderer".

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

The problem is that the BDP-80 doesn't return the model in the user agant, so you need to modify (in the config you got from avs forum):
UserAgentSearch=BDP-83
with
UserAgentSearch=OPPO

That will work.
