Discuss alternative media renderers (not PS3) supported by PS3 Media Server (e.g. Xbox 360, TVs &c.)

No problem. Thanks for your feedback. I had suspected that it might have broken support for other devices. I am glad your other devices still work.

New updated patch for PartialContentRange from WorldOfHurt posted here:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11514
If SubJunk will merge it with main trunk, Sony should work again.

I suppose main problems with this renderer is this missing patch and maybe this one from tomeko:

Hi ExSport. Would you mind taking a read through the patch I posted (link in sig) please? There is probably more that needs to be done to get most things working on the 2010 Sony Blu-Ray players. With the patch I posted (modified from WoH's, Patters, etc), most things work nicely with my player e.g. streaming media, etc, although pictures, etc, are not as snappy as Serviio. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Ok, so I've got a BDV-E370 Home Theatre unit, and thanks to infidel, finally was able to play some videos. Now using ExSport build 1.25.1

I'm testing the configuration on WIn XP, but am also going to run this on UnRaid. Tests so far on both XP and Unraid , they both behave exactly the same.

BUT, the conf file isn't quite right for this unit, possible cause i'm in New Zealand, and its probably a EU firmware version. Guessing here.

I've seen Speedster back in april mentioning stuttering in MKV, and grolschie mentioning streaming MKV instead of transcoding. Can anybody give me a hand in sorting out my Conf file.
Code: Select all

Has anyone been able to get streaming internet radio running to a Sony BDP-S570? If so, how do you do it? If anyone has the appropriate version of PS3 Media server, I'd like to get my hands on it. I'd like to avoid having to figure out how to compile and patch on my own. Thanks

@ PhoenixNZ: PM sent.

@ rnshagam: The only way that I know of is to patch and compile your own PS3MS, or use another server product. Sorry.

I don't know about exSport's build, but the patch in my sig works fine with my NZ BDP-S370 and Windows XP.
