I haven't really used internet video because the BDP plays the BBC content here in the UK natively. I don't think your log comparisons are of the same moment. I think I read somewhere that when the renderer asks for byte range 0-0 - that's when you've pressed stop or return on the remote.

Also the working one uses video/avi mimetype whereas the bad one is video/mpeg. If I've got it right your old conf had MediaInfo=false, which adds another wrinkle. Have you tried setting avi format to video/avi in the new conf?

@patters: good to know getting BBC content "natively" is not a problem in the UK :D.

Hi there. Thanks. I have now changed all the video (not audio) mimetypes to m:video/avi in the conf, yet interestingly web TV still shows up on the player is mpeg still. This could be the problem? Yet, on my working setup, they show up as avi ok.

Can you please upload your win32 built to somewhere else so I can download it. I cannot download your build from that link. Thank you very much for sharing your built.

I don't have an RS account or any other sort of dropbucket. Here's a new link, good for 10 more downloads: pms-setup-windows-1.20.409_sony_bdp_patch_v2.zip .

EDIT: link renewed for the 4th time. Please pm me on expiration or if you want to offer it a more permanent home.

Tested it with my Sony BDP-BX37 (the BX37 is an S370 sold by Costco). It seems to work ok, but I've done limited testing. My unit is a USA Model. It seems that there are differences in the USA version of the S370 and everywhere else.

I put a copy here:

http://kontrol.doesntexist.com/pms-setu ... tch_v2.zip

It's running off a cablemodem, so speed won't be great.

I have made a new version of the patch which incorporates tomeko's photo thumbnail support, apparently taken from the Rendr fork of PS3MS. You will need convert.exe from Imagemagick which you put in ps3mediaserver/win32, or appropriate Linux/Mac OS binaries folder.

EDIT updated patch is available later in the thread because forgot to update the renderer conf.
