Freecom MusicPal configuration

Discuss alternative media renderers (not PS3) supported by PS3 Media Server (e.g. Xbox 360, TVs &c.)

Freecom MusicPal configuration

Postby holtkamp » Mon Apr 05, 2010 2:44 pm

I have created a configuration file and a nice clientimage for the Freecom MusicPal, a WiFi MP3 player that can be used as an alarm clock or just a normal radio to receive MP3 streams. It detects the PS3 Media Server as a media server automatically and can play shared MP3 files.

1. Close PS3 Media Server
2. Place the 'FreecomMusicPal.conf' file in the PS3 Media Server\renderers folder
3. Open the pms.jar file (for instance with WinRAR) and place the client image file 'musicpal.png' in the resources\clients\ folder
4. Start PS3 Media Server

Can someone with writing permissions include these files in the code repository as well?

Cheers and keep up the good work!
