Hi i was wondering if you guys could make it possible to play 10bit...

http://haruhichan.com/wpblog/index.php/ ... guide.html
H.264/MPEG-4 AVC

10bit files are so much better and smaller! but i cant get them to work... is there a way it can be supported someday and if so can i do some testing to help to try to make the video files work :D

The guide you link says VLC can handle Hi10P.
I expect the next release to contain improved VLC support.

Let me rephrase that.

I expect the next release of PMS to contain improved VLC support.

Whoa there.

This is going way off-topic for these forums now.
I will help you on your way and then lock this topic.

PMS is written in Java, not in C++. So if your aim is to change PMS, I would seek out Java, not C++.
If you want to learn how to program Java, search the internet. Being good at math helps, because programming requires abstract thinking, just like math.
