help with philips 42pfl9703

Postby dadach » Sat Jul 14, 2012 3:06 pm

hello, this rederer is recognized as Philips AUREA tv, and i can play some .mkv videos that are recorded from the tv (shows, music videos). the movies encoded from bluray .mkv do not show any picture, but i can hear the sound. does anyone know how i could show the picture with those movies, or do i have to transcode them in different format, then the media server would play them.

also, is there some other solution for philips TV that would work better?

thanks for the help

Seems like a video bit rate or video size isssue. I'd try lowering both
