Can't find media renderer (Xbox 360) [Need help w/older ver]

The newest version 1.52 can't find my 360 and it doesn't matter what settings I change, what services I turn off/on, or what numbers I change in .conf or etc.

The old version 1.40, finds my 360 and plays, but it doesn't have fast forward, and it stutters when I play .mkv files.

Here's the problem: I used to have an awesome version of PS3 Media Server that BOTH: (1)Found my 360 (2)Played .mkv's without stuttering.

BUT

I saw the update, and me being the naive fool that I am; thought to myself, "ooh, an update let me get it and enjoy the improvements of a newer version"

So.....

I'm screwed atm, I am only able to find version 1.40, and 1.52 is BS. I can't find the older versions, every time I think I find it, it just links me to the same main download site for PMS version 1.52...

Help me? Please?

You can download all versions of PMS from Google code.

That said, the latest version of PMS should be able to find your Xbox 360 just fine.
Did you check the FAQ?

You won't be able to FF/RW when transcoding to the 360 regardless of the version of PMS. The only time FF/RW will work, is with native files. It's a sad fact of the 360 and it's limited capabilities as a media renderer.

So, don't get too excited thinking a new version is going to change things, at least of the FF/RW end.
