Xbox 360 iso ripped DVDs

Does the mpeg2 quality setting control anything when it comes to Iso rips on the 360. I think the 360's format is wmv.
Is setting the quality to 1:1:1 better then 5:1:1. Why is lossless 5:1:2 wouldn't that we worse? I am trying to get true DVD quality on my 360, but as of now it is clearer looking on the real DVD. I think my pc is fast enough to handle any encoding.
