PANASONIC TV detected, but SAT says it doesn't support DLNA

Postby fulerillo » Sat Apr 07, 2012 4:27 pm

Hi all!

I'm new usig PS3MS but, despite some problems I'm having lately (I'll tell you if I dont get them solved), everything is working fine.

My question is, althoug PS3 MS is detecting my Panasonic TX-P42UT30 as a DLNA compatible media renderer, I cannot access the server through the TV since I have no access to that option on it (I wrote to the technical service of Panasonic and they told me that model didn't support DLNA - but PS3 MS detects it a if it would). So, do you know if it can be a mistake from PS3 MS or it may be a question of the firmware of my TV? Do you know if it is possible to update the firmaware / load a firmware of any other Panasonic TV model (or a custom firmware)?

Thanks in advance and sorry formy english :-/

PanasonicAsia site lists DLNA as feature. If you can find an Asian firmware (with english language) you might get lucky. ;)
