Samsung UE46D7005 and MKV files with subtitles.

Hello. Since my TV does not support MKV with embedded subtitles (if i understood things correctly as it does not show any subtitles when playing MKV files normally). However if i use transcoding options i can get subtitles but then it says the movie is 18hours long and i cannot use any kind of timeskip or anything.

I am using 1.51.0 running from a iMac wirelessly (never had any playback issues with stuttering so I'm keeping it like that) and this is the only issue I'm not quite satisfied with. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
