Samsung AllShare -- DB-E5900

Postby stephen.c.griffiths » Sat Mar 17, 2012 2:48 am

All,

I have been using PMS for a year and a half now for use on the PS3 -- works great. Just last weekend I bought a new Bluray player for the living room. PMS "sees" the new player and displays a Samsumg AllShare icon on the Status tab. The issue it the Bluray player does not see the server. The Bluray player does see a couple of other server I have running -- WMP12 and Tversity.

I am running in Windows 7, on a Quad core box with 4Gbytes ram. Both the Samsung player and the PS3 are wireless.

Here is the Trace page:

Can anyone help me get PMS running on my Samsung player?

Thanks!
Steve

Maybe the FAQ helps, especially the "After UDP Broadcast" part.

Thanks Raptor399 -- I read though the FAQ checking all that it outlined. No joy. So I took the lazy way out and took the Samsung back and bought a PS3. Plugged this new PS3 in -- everything works just fine.

Thanks! I have 2 PS3's now -- one in the living room and one in the family room. Both work like the bees knees.
