xbox 360 intermittent stutter

Not using a render-er for this file

Problem When im watching a video file. .avi any for that matter they stutter after 10 mins or maybe more then continue to stutter every 5 minutes or so. Its only a quick stutter that lasts maybe a few seconds and then it stops stuttering. After another 5 minutes it stutters again. It does this throughout the entire movie. I've played the same file on the ps3 and it runs perfectly fine. I've had Some issues though with cinavia on ps3 so i have to run it on xbox 360. However watching a movie with this stuttering is very distracting. Its happened with every file I've used.

Check the PS3 Media Server Tutorial. Prob reduce buffer size and increase Java buffer. Also this might help (from tutorial) in correct play of movies:

Subtitle issue (only older versions of PMS < 1.30) - Personally, i get problems on my Bravia W5500, with unstable framerate with some movies w/subtitles using above vf expand, but following settings seems to fix it:

Also try magma version so you have 5.1 sound.

tried reducing buffer and increased java.. Those were the first things i did. I read the tutorial and it didn't help for xbox 360 users really... Is there anything else that someone can suggest that may have had the same issues?

none of that relates to my question about random stutter on 360. It happens to all movie files any size etc. PS3 is fine.

The PS3 and Xbox are different devices. The PS3 has a better wired NIC (360 only 100mbit), and there could be a NIC configuration mismatch or something as simple as bad ethernet cable or ethernet port.
