Streaming to Xbox.

Hey guys, i am using the latest version to stream video to my xbox. I am having issues with some HD content stuttering, freezing and then the audio gets all out of sync. Everything is wired so there is not streaming trough wifi. I am wondering what the issue might be?

Should I be converting all my files (most are mkv. mp4, 1080p, blu-ray rips), to a uniform file format? Should I configure the settings in ps3 media player to help optimize playback? I have my maximum bandwidth set to 0. If anyone has any suggestions of the best way to stream HD content to the xbox via ps3media player I would really appreciate it. I have been considering purchasing a Western Digital media player if I can't get ps3 media player to work properly.

Edit: My processor is a AMD phenom 4.3GHz quad core, with 4GB of ram. Not sure if this might be helpful.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I tried afew of the suggestions in the FAQ, but I am still having issues. I am going to post a part of the debug.log. I am not sure if it will be of any help but hopefully it may shed some light on what may be causing my problem?

Any solutions yet? Anyone know what it means?

I had the same problem, I did 3 things to get it to work for me:

Under "Transcoding Settings", "Common transcode settings":
1) Reduce buffer max to 400
2) Reduce AC3 audio bitrate to 384 (this is only for me to reduce bandwith)
3) Reduced Video Quality Settings to *Good Quality* keyint=5:vqscale=2:vqmin=3 (you may need to drop this even more)

I think item #3 showed best improvement.
