Conf File for Panasonic TX-P42GW20 ??

Postby headtwo » Thu Mar 17, 2011 3:54 pm

Hello everybody,

i found ps3 Media Server last week and i'm really impressed. It's a very nice program.
First i've installed the stable Version 1.10.51. With this my TV works fine. But this version often crashes while playing.
So now i'm using the latest beta published. Everything with PS3 works fine, but my TV isn't recognized anymore.
I've tried out the Conf File from ExSport for G20 but it doesn't work. Means i could browse the Server but couldn't watch any movie.

Could anybody help me with this? Has anybody an working conf file? I would be really glory about it. :)

Thanks for help.
Greetings from Berlin, Germany

Edit: problem guideline:
Windows 7 32 Bit
Device working: ps3, not working: Panasonic TX-P42GW20
Network: PC -> VodafoneBox A502 -> W-Lan G -> Device
Engine: MEncoder
What is not working: Config File for TX-P42GW20

Here's a conf file for a G20 (UK model) that is working (for server build 1.20.409).
I think it's based on one that was previously posted on this site. Unfortunately I can't help if it doesn't work as it's the result of fiddling without really any idea of what I was doing.

I also have an updated .jar file with the Panasonic icon in (.jar file size approx 9MB)

These are the Transcode settings that I'm using:
skip transcode for avi,mpeg2,ts
force transcode for wmv,mp4,rm,rmvb,mkv,mpg

Avi will work ok if they are DivX or XVid. I have a couple of AVIs that won't play but they are using an old DivX codec.
