just a suggestion instead of having FOR TESTING ONLY, POSSIBLY UNSTABLE (we know already!!!!) can we change that to "BETA" or "SVN Build" so its not as ugly for us people who like to keep fully upto date.. :)

No, it's ugly on purpose; so that it is a big, blatant reminder, to prevent people from complaining about their SVN build not working

Thank you for the report!

Just replaced build 762 with 768 and it broke playback of all files that has to be transcoded, only avi's play.
I now see these 2 lines under te 'traces' tab that I don't recall seeing earlier.

[New I/O server worker #1-2] INFO 21:01:35.121 Media renderer was not recognized. HTTP User-Agent: Microsoft-Windows/6.1 UPnP/1.0 Windows-Media-Player-DMS/12.0.7601.17514 DLNADOC/1.50
[New I/O server worker #1-3] INFO 21:01:35.172 Media renderer was not recognized. HTTP User-Agent: Windows-Media-Player-DMS/12.0.7601.17514

First copied mplayer, mencoder, mencoder_mt, etc from the official build to r768 folder, did not work.
Then installed official build over r768 without uninstalling and everything works again.

Those 2 lines above don't show up either.

The only suspicious commit in between is that of r765.
I'll roll back that change and see if that helps.

Those two should be matched by "WMP.conf", from what I can tell. There have been no commits that would directly affect this, maybe it is a side effect of the broken playback.

I don't think it is related to mplayer, mencoder and mencoder_mt, but we'll see when r765 is rolled back.
Thank you for the feedback!

I have confirmed the playback error on PS3 and that it was indeed caused by the change in r765. The change has been rolled back in r769.
