Hi,

still working with the 1.10.51 version and using a very old version of Java because the 1.10.51 version doesn't support any higher Java version then java 6 update 16.

Can anyone tell me if this latest beta build allows you to update Java to the current Java 6 update 22 with PS3MS still functioning?

Thanks!

PS3MS v 1.20.409 runs fine with Java 6 update 20 (build 1.6.0_20-b02). But I didn't update to the latest Java version either.
(nor is the PS3MS version the latest)

Hi,

Yesterday i've updated 1.10.51 to the latest beta build .412 on my win7x86 machine with java 6u22.
I haven't changed any of my setting from the 1.10.51 version (which was working just fine), but whil playing an avi + srt file it seems like the video is just randomly skipping seconds without any reason and after that the audio and video is out of sync. Tried multiple avi's but all with the same problem.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue

I rolled back Java version to the one that comes with PSM. I Also had v22 before this. All issues i had disappeared when using the Java that comes with PMS.

Hi all - and thanks for this excellent software.

I was using version 1.10.51 without any problems (what a great program!!). After installing version 1.20.412 and retaining all of my existing settings - everything worked fine except for the display of album art for music files.

With the 1.10.51 version, the art displays perfectly for each track/song - but with the 1.20.412 version, the art for the first 10 tracks/songs of each album does not display. The generic music thumbnail is diplayed for the first 10 tracks and the remaining tracks display the correct art.

I tried changing every setting that could be relevant to this without any success. Even an uninstall and clean reinstall didn't help. On reverting to version 1.10.51 - the album art displays correctly.

Maybe someone else has had this problem and found a solution - or it might be specific to my system:
Pentium P4 3.2gHz - 2GB ram - XP Pro SP3 - 100Mbps Lan.

I'm new to this forum and have been using ps3 media server for about a year. The latest build 381 gives me distorted (high pitch sound) audio when playing dts audio movies. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I have just installed 1.20.412 and have the same problem. I have tried all videos that have a DTS track and although the amp picks up the DTS signal and I can hear the audio track but there is a static noise in the background. I have upgraded from 1.10.51 and it used to work flawlessly.

Please can someone shed some light on this?
