Not really a big bug or a big deal i thought i should just point it out though.

On the bottom where it says "Serving bla bla bla filename bla [container] [video: bla]

The thing like that, it doesn't matter if you aren't serving it anymore, it just sticks there, and the only way to get rid of it is to restart the pms.

I registered just to post this...

This works great on OSX Snow Leopard!

All you need to do is download the linux version, extract it...

Open a Terminal Windows and change into the directory

then run ./pms.sh

The only thing is once you minimize the app you can't bring it back without exiting and running the command again but besides that it works great.

It would be awesome if you guys can turn it into an actual Mac/OSX App. It already works as one so it shouldn't be too hard.

In the newer builds, I've had many more instances of mkv's going out of A/V sync. I had a few older builds on my machine, and I noticed that SB18 and later go out of sync but r507 will not on the same file with the same settings. So far this holds true on 2 mkv's that I know go out of sync. I'll try to test a few more later.

Edit: Tired two more files that didn't work before, and they play normally now. Wasn't this before the no header patch (or something like that)?

Have you tried "force framerate parsed from ffmpeg" on MEncoder settings tab ? I do as Mazey does......disable "Alternative A/V sync...." but I also "force framerate....." and I rarely.....if at all in the last several months have A/V sync issues with either TsMuxer or MEncoder.

Hi there,

Im a dummy user with pms, i saw a lot of movies with .avi & .mkv format with .srt subtitles, but when i try to see a .mp4 movie with .srt subtiltes. the subtitles doesn't appear on the screen, i checked the names of subtitles and the are ok (with the same name as the movie).

What can i do to fix this ?

I've never really had a good time using MKVs with ps3media server, it just doesn't work all that well.

If your mkv doesn't have subtitles then i reccomend just using MKV2VOB to remux it to mpg, takes about 30 seconds to a couple minutes depending on the size of the file, and its ALOT less of a pain than trying to use ps3mediaserver.

MP4 with subtitles inside the files are rare, I've only come across a few of them in my entire time on the internet, so they probably don't support it, and the ps3 won't play mp4 files with subtitles unless they are burned in.

Hmm, it works for the first two files, but fails on the third one.

I had done that in the past but for a while PMS was working great so I stopped.
