Looks like there are lots of errors related to x264 in your log. I suggest making sure you are using the latest x264 revision (r2197). Also which config options are you using for x264 and mplayer?

Yes, there are a lot of errors.
x264 isn't statically linked in your build?
I'm using latest svn (from yesterday).
And I'm not using any specific options. I just launch PMS.sh ...
Should I modify some parameters?

Which config options did you use when compiling x264 and MPlayer?

I compiled x264 with --enable-shared
I got mplayer via svn.
when I ./configure mplayer, it gets ffmpeg.

should i first go to ffmpeg directory, ./configure with desired options, make, make install, and only THEN get back to mplayer main dire to do ./configure, make and make install?

Or should I directly compile mplayer from its root directory? In this cas how do I specifiy the options for ffmpeg (like enable-libxvid and libx264...) ?

Some people do the FFmpeg config separately but I don't. I just let it detect what I have installed.
For x264 I use enable-static and enable-shared.
For MPlayer I use enable-static and enable-runtime-cpudetection.

Hey Subjunk, are there binaries of ffmpeg, mencoder, mplayer, included with your package? Or should I take your package, go through scripts and build my own mencoder?

yes and I see scripts to build from source, no binaries. Maybe I have not seen them? or is it the objective to compile everything? I don't mind compiling (although on my Nas box it takes time...), but I need to have some control over, at the very least, the prefix where it is installed... Is it possible with these scripts?
