on 50 and 51 i've a DLNA error, and nothing is shown on the ps3.

Back to 49 and everything is fine.

I had a nightmare day trying to get SB51 to connect, but I finally managed to, but now
this is happening in every movie where I've gone into the #transcode# folder.

It's saying my movies are much shorter than they are. This one is saying the movie Faster is only 2 min. 57 sec. long and if I play one of those options, the movie only in fact plays for that long.

There seems to be a shortage of engine options in my #transcode# folder as well.

There should be MEncoder/subtitle options beside these lower entries as well, as you can see by referring to the Chapter options up top of the picture . I generally don't worry about subs, but these strange traits of the #transcode# folder could hinder any chances of selecting a suitable transcode option if needed.
I can use the Chapters options but I can't actually select a specific time within. The movie always starts at the beginning no matter the time I select.

Just wondering if I am the only one seeing this. I am kind of baffled. :|

Everything else seems to be running OK so far.

Had some odd experiences last night.. my movie was suddently skipping to another place in the movie.. but it must have been buffered, cause it happened so i almost didnt notice it.. but it skipped like 10 minutes or so.. one big skip, and plays on like nothing happened (doesent even pause or buffer).. this happened one or two times, then the movie finally crashed and i had to restart the transcode. dont know if it was only this movie..

[Thread-371] DEBUG 05:08:54.687 Cannot grow buffer size from 50,000,000 bytes to 419,430,400 bytes.
[Thread-371] DEBUG 05:08:54.968 Cannot grow buffer size from 50,000,000 bytes to 233,550,643 bytes either.

The glitch was already in SB50

Whatever i try, PMS always starts at the beginning of the movie

In SB50 the transcode-folder showed me the 5 minute time-chunks, in SB51 it seems like it shows random durations (I suddenly got 20' episodes that are shown as 2 hour 37').

Thanx BTW for all the good things!!

Aahh. Missed that. Thanks Uppie.

Yeah, my whole #transcode# folder is just messed right up for some reason as I posted above. Trying to find anything like it in the forums but nothing coming up yet.
This is where it gets weird though. What I have observed, is that my first #transcode# folder option is showing a strange time as I linked two posts up, but the real strange thing is that if I back out of the #transcode# folder the movie filename outside the #trans# folder changes to match inside the #trans# folder.

Like this:
Default first #trans# folder option (2 hour movie):
>> 00:03:18:00

After I back out, the movie renames itself outside the #trans# folder as such:
>> 00:03:18:00
and the movie then shifts position to the bottom of the file stack as if it is a new file to the folder. If I restart PMS, then the files revert to their original name, and line back up alphabetically.
Other than that though, the playback itself is great with this release, subs or not, transcoding or remuxing. Just something strange when I go into the #transcode# folder. It is a weird one.

Unfortunately there have been a lot of large code updates made by other developers lately that I don't have time to go over, so it's up to them to fix their mistakes

Scary, when core functionalities having been ok forever break. Sure this is part of the main trunk?
If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx
