As I updated my last post, it doesn't work for AVI files(XviD) but it works for MKV files.
Tested about 7 AVIs with AC3 and GOTO doesn't work on all of them.
Also found that AC3 2.0 audio is not supported. When movie is played with 2.0 AC3 audio, only video is played so it seems 2.0 AC3 encapsulation is not supported.

Hello, first let me say thanks for all the hard work and awesome developments on the latest SubJunk build. My mkv files with cinavia ac3 audio are playing great with LPCM showing on the ps3 (pass-through), and Dolby Digital showing up on my receiver without the need to transcode h264 video...it is just remuxed with tsMuxer. I actually shouted out a big "WOOP!" the first time it worked correctly with my mkv of Priest.

However I also have some very large mkv rips (10+ gigs) that my wireless network can't handle streaming (or maybe it's the PS3 buffer limit I'm not sure) so the only way I can play them is to remux to m2ts and slowly copy the file to the PS3 hard drive (not an option for cinavia infected files). So just to see if it would work I tried to copy a large mkv file (h264 video & ac3 audio infected with cinavia) from the transcode folder and much to my surprise it worked! The file copied to the PS3 hard drive still displays as LPCM 2ch. and my receiver is still picking up Dolby Digital 5.1!!! The only problem is the audio is not in sync with the video. It slowly goes out of sync more and more as the file progresses. I'm not sure if this can be fixed or not but it would be great for those of us who want to play large (cinavia infected) files with fat bitrates but do not have the option the run a hard-line from the PS3 to the router.

Thanks for time.

just use a wired network, anything bandwidth heavy (as large mkv rips (1080p)) aren't suitable to do wireless.. Wireless just sux for good HD-streaming, just live with it..

We're removing the Cinavia option for legal reasons so I won't be giving support for it, sorry :)

Yes I know wireless networks are not suitable. I know I just have to live with it. I know there is no solution for streaming high bitrates over wireless networks so I don't....I copy them to the PS3 hard drive because running a wire just is not an option for me. I was not asking how to stream HD across my network. I was asking how to properly copy transcoded files to the PS3 hard drive without rinning into the audio/video sync problem.

Are you removing the "Keep DTS in stream" options from PMS ? Or only the new "encoded audio" option ? Or is it going to remain, and be renamed ? Or is it simply no help will be given in regards to questions that put this forum in a bad light ? Perhaps people prefer to let their expensive receiver/amplifiers do the processing.

What exactly is going on here, because if the DTS passthru option is removed from PMS, that's it for me with program, especially after forking out a bunch of money specifically to run a receiver for the DTS option.

So dramatic! We're removing what I said we're removing.
