Also when using mplayer 311750 it gives me a green arrow for a thumbnail for a newly imported movie. Reverted back to older mplayer and re imported the same movie and I get proper thumbnail.

It's ImageMagic to create thumbnails for photos, the official release doesn't support thumbs in photos.

@djhansel:
I added the mac build to the site let see if you receive more feedback

Redlum wrote:Hey guys,

I'm back ;) It's great that the community is still active so I wan't get some of this work into the official build so more people can enjoy it.

I'm interested in mostly bug fixes and small enhancements, no new features, I'll leave that up to Shagrath who might be back soon.

Since you've all been testing this for a while, which patches would you consider low risk? Thanks.

Anyone have a patch list for Redlum to start incorporating into the official trunk? :)
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

Here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7826#p36500 it's the most complete list but some of them are features.

I hope, you have an idea to fix it. Perhaps this post http://ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6361 contains already a solution for this issue?
Are these patches included in the new beta build?
Thanks in advance.

Re: PMS Community Build Beta

If I want to integrate 31170 Mencoder with c29 Community Build, should I replace ALL the c29 files with 31170 Mencoder files?

To be more specific, should I replace all 3 of these files:
mencoder
mencoder_mt
mplayer

Or should I ONLY replace Mencoder/Mencoder_mt ?

Also, I'm using the "p4" build of Mencoder. I have an Intel Core i7-920 (quad core). Is this the best build?

Thanks.

Wow :)

this post just kicks my ass, community is really a great thing :D
I must confess the current r409 works really well on my new Linux box (except the -ass support, which is also broken in last Mencoder builds on Windows anyway...), so I slacked a little in reviewing all these patches

"Anyone have a patch list for Redlum to start incorporating into the official trunk?"

I can take them, starting from a few of my own, sitting unreleased in my workspace
