After installing the new public beta, the program still reads as 1.20.409

Did I not install it correctly, or was the version not updated in the program?

The version wasn't updated in the program. Don't worry about it

Hello,

With this new branch (thank you for this great work), I think it will be difficult to find yourself and know what to get.... Based on lot of experiences, means troubles, I think it must be merged in one trunk only.
* Current version installed: pms-setup-windows-1.21.0-SB16.exe
* XP with SP 3
* Sony Bravia KDL 32V5500, firmware PKG1.741EA
* Java build 1.6.0_24-b07
* PMSencoder 1.4.0

When you don't have access to the trunk, this is only solution how to easily apply new patches until Shagrath will be back again with us ;)
Also more people can test these new patches so it will be easier for Shagrath to implement it as stable solutions, already tested on many users, not only on one who compiled it yourself...

We are just waiting for Shagrath or one of the committers to start applying the patches to the original project.
But because this is stopped for so long we started this.

Thanks for this. The info on the source checkout page needs to be corrected to:
Code: Select all
svn checkout http://ps3mediaservercontrib.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ps3mediaserver/

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong here, but since I've installed this build, ALL of my HDD's are visible in the Video menu on the PS3 instead of just the Folders I have explicitly defined in the 'Navigation/Share Settings' > 'Shared folders' section.
