1.20.409: Pre-scanning library is useless with DVD ISO files

It seems to me that in 1.20.409 (and older versions), on OSX, when using a folder filled with DVD ISO rips, the pre-scanning of your library is useless. Watching the debug.log file, it scans the library -- but doesnt scan the individual ISOs for their various content. ie, when you hit the scan button you can see log lines like:

[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.653 Adding [DVD ISO] AIR_FORCE_ONE.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.653 Adding [DVD ISO] ALIEN.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.653 Adding [DVD ISO] ALIEN2.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.653 Adding [DVD ISO] ALIEN3.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] ALIEN4.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] ANALYZE_THAT.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] Batman Begins (Bonus Disc).iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] Batman Begins.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] Beer Fest.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] BLADE2.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.654 Adding [DVD ISO] BLADE2_BONUS.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile
[Thread-35] INFO 15:21:50.655 Adding [DVD ISO] BLADE_16X9.iso / class: net.pms.dlna.DVDISOFile

However, its not actually taking the time to scan each ISO. That means that when you go into the XMB interface on the PS3 and select your movie directory, it still starts up dozens of (slow) threads that each scan a .iso file before ever displaying it. This causes the user experience to suck ... badly.

The type of scan that seems to take place simply in order for "[DVD ISO] Braveheart.iso" to show up as a selectable menu option seems to take a good 5-10 seconds per ISO. From there, selecting a movie kicks off a whole new scan that takes another 15-30 seconds. Is this a bug, or has no one thought to just completely pre-cache everything?

Thing is the media library is not adapted (yet) for handling DVD isos meta informations, so while I can quickly add dvd isos to the scan process, the work to adapt the media library is more important.
